Hi, I’m Denae!

I’m an Interdisciplinary Storyteller and Visual Anthropologist.

Based in Brooklyn and Medellín, you'll most likely find me in the window seat of an airplane.

I believe in the transformative power of storytelling. With over a decade of experience as a communications and design consultant, I've collaborated with award-winning nonprofits, agencies, and small businesses, specializing in strategic creative direction, marketing, and inclusive design. While focusing on purpose-driven organizations, I continuously pursue my own creative research and independent projects.

I hold an MSc in Visual Anthropology from Universiteit van Amsterdam, an Executive Certification in Design Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Communications from Temple University.
